Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan spark separation rumours after former spotted without wedding ring

Of late, the separation rumours of Bollywood power couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have been doing rounds on the internet. Abhishek’s recent appearance at an event has only added fuel to the fire. A user on Reddit shared a picture and mentioned that the actor was clicked without his ring.

The couple has been married for 16 years and has a daughter Aaradhya. Sharing the picture, the Reddit user wrote, “Abhishek isn't wearing his wedding ring anymore in his recent appearances, up until now he has always worn it.” Soon after, a netizen reacted, “I saw someone on Twitter mention this too. I have no idea how true this is but I always thought that a divorce is impossible in a bachchan khandan. Did not expect this.” Another netizen said “Till Amitabh is alive he will never allow it.”

Earlier too, Abhishek sparked rift rumours when he seemingly posted a dry birthday wish for Aishwarya on her 50th birthday. The actor shared a monochromatic picture of his wife but kept the caption simple “Happy Birthday!” Fans were quick to interpret this as a sign of discord within the marriage. Back in 2018 when rift rumours surfaced, the actor tweeted, “With due respect. Please refrain from making up false stories. I understand the need to continuously post, but would really appreciate it if you could do so responsibly.”

Meanwhile, workwise, Abhishek was last seen in Ghoomer, a sports drama also starring Saiyami Kher, Angad Bedi and Shabana Azmi. Up next, he will be seen in Dancing Dad, Lefty and Gulab Jamun. On the other hand, Aishwarya was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan Part 1 and Part 2. The couple has worked together in Raavan, Guru, Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke and Umrao Jaan among others.
