Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan tries speaking in Marathi at her pre-wedding ceremony, looks gorgeous in a Nath

Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan will soon tie the knot with longtime beau Nupur Shikhare on January 3, 2024. Now, she has kickstarted her pre-wedding festivities along with a Kelvan ceremony. She shared some delightful pictures and videos from the same.

Talking about the same, Ira opted for a striped pink saree along with a purple blouse for the occasion. She half-tied her hair ditching her makeup. She furthermore wore a traditional Maharashtrian Nath along with Bindi and dangler earrings. Nupur chose a printed light blue Kurta for the occasion. In the first picture, Ira could be seen cutely looking at her fiance as he is all set to feed her. In the second video, the soon-to-be bride tries talking in Marathi since her fiance is a Maharashtrian. The couple could be seen performing all the rituals of the Kelvan ceremony with joy and happiness.

Ira also shared a heartwarming picture of her mother Reena Dutta posing along with Nupur’s mother Pritam Shikhare. We also see Little Things actress and Ira’s close friend Mithika Palkar in the pictures. She looked pretty in a purple saree with a pink blouse. She shared the post dropping some gushing emojis. Monica O My Darling actress and Ira’s cousin Zayn Marie along with Rhea Chakraborty poured in some love on the post. Kelvan ceremony is a common ritual amongst Maharashtrians wherein the families of the soon-to-be bride and groom come together to share meals and gifts. Nupur who happens to be a celebrity fitness trainer proposed to Ira last year in September.

The couple hosted an engagement bash with their close family and friends in November last year. Ira and Nupur never fail to shell out major relationship goals. On the work front, Ira is an activist who works towards empowering and helping out those suffering from mental health issues.
