Aamir Khan reveals ex-wife Kiran Rao’s response when asked what he lacks as a husband: ‘Bakayda points likhwae’

There are many celebrity love stories which are no less than Bollywood films. But unlike movies, real life love stories sometimes come to an end. However, broken relationships don’t always mean broken bonds. Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao’s friendship post divorce is a major example of this. The two were head over heels in love and after living together for a year they got married in 2005. They welcomed their son Azad Rao Khan into the world in 2011. 10 years down the line, Aamir and Kiran announced their separation. Today, they are co-parents and best friends.

Recently while speaking at ABP Network’s Ideas of India Summit, Aamir revealed that post their divorce they were sitting together one evening when he asked Kiran what he lacked as a husband. The actor remembered, “She said, ‘Haan likho,’ Bakayda mujhe points likhwae gaye. ‘Aap bahut baat karte hain, aap kisiko baat nahi karne dete, apne hi point pe ghuse rehte hain.’ Kuch 15-20 points maine likhe hue hain. ‘Write it down!’ she commanded. Made me take note of her complaints. ‘You talk a lot. You don’t let others speak. You are stuck on your point.’ I wrote down 15-20 points!).”

In a recent interview, Kiran shared that Aamir and she had disagreements but they never indulged in big fights like other married couples. The reason behind this is the respect they have for each other in their hearts. Well, the marriage came to an end but their bond continues to blossom. Even their chemistry was pretty evident in pictures from Aamir’s daughter Ira Khan’s wedding with Nupur Shikhare.

Currently Aamir and Kiran are busy gearing up for the release of their much awaited film Laapataa Ladies. Starring Jamtara actor Sparsh Shrivastava along with Ravi Kishan, Nitanshi Goel and Pratibha Ranta, the film is set to release on 1st March.
