    It’s always said that ‘Every girl’s first hero is her father’. It just cannot be truer than in the case of Bollywood actress Yami Gautam. She took to social media and shared an extremely heartfelt post on social media after her father Mukesh Gautam won big at the National Film Awards Ceremony 2024, for his film Baghi Di Dee. 

    On her part, Yami Gautam posted a screenshot of her father’s win at the National Film Awards Ceremony 2024, wherein he can be seen receiving the award at the hands of India’s President Draupadi Murmu.

    Yami captioned the same as, ‘Very emotional moment as my father, Shri Mukesh Gautam, received his first National Award, as a director, for his film - ‘Baghi Di Dhee’. Emotions cannot be poured in words. I am such a proud daughter’.

    She added, ‘My father’ journey till here has been one of the hardest journeys I have seen & yet couldn’t deter him from his consistent passion for work & immense honesty in ethics. Your family is proud of you, papa. A special mention to @rabindra.narayan & @jasrajsinghbhatti for being a fantastic team’. After she posted this on social media, there were an array of messages from her fans and followers.

    On the other hand, there was also Karan Johar who took to social media and penned a heartfelt note after his film Brahmastra won big at the National Awards 2024. Karan posted, Every time I step onto this stage, it’s always a different feeling of magic. But there’s one feeling that always remains - gratitude.

    He added, ‘Thank you @mib_india for the constant support & strength for our film fraternity to tell stories and bring it to the people of our nation. And thank you to the audience, for the bountiful love that you shower. This is the third time for me on stage, and the magnanimity of it all is not lost on me. And what a day to celebrate - since today also marks 44 years of @dharmamovies!’
