3 years of Haseen Dilruba- Writer Kanika Dhillon pens an emotional post; Taapsee Pannu reacts!

It was exactly on the day and date of 2 July 2021, when the fiery actress Taapsee Pannu stunned the audiences with her stellar performance in the film Haseen Dilruba. The film went onto not just win the hearts of the audiences, but also many awards on a global level as well. How can anyone forget the fact that the film Haseen Dilruba went onto become one of the ‘most-watched Hindi film on Netflix’ of that year! It was ranked amongst the top ten films in as many as 22 countries!

Today, the OTT streaming giant Netflix, posted a memorable scene from the film Haseen Dilruba. The post was captioned as, ‘3 years since we fell in love with these Haseen Dilrubas #HaseenDillruba’. As for the scene in question, it showed Taapsee Pannu in an unforgettable conversation with the film’s leading man Vikrant Massey. Besides them, the film also starred Harshvardhan Rane, Aditya Srivastava and Shivaji Satam in important roles.

The clip had Taapsee Pannu telling Vikrant Massey, ‘Jo paagalpan ke hadh se na guzrey… who pyaar hi kya sir!”. This, then, gets followed by a series of scenes from the film, which made it truly memorable.

In no time after the video post was uploaded, there were many who took to the comments section and not just poured their hearts out, but also made a ‘demand’ for the film’s sequel at the earliest. While one user wrote, ‘OMG! How can I forget Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey in this film. It was only after I saw this film, I discovered what a fine actors Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey arein Bollywood’, there was another who wrote, ‘Both Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey simply set the screen on fire with their on screen chemistry in the film. Just cannot wait any lonfer for the film’s sequel’.

On her part, Kanika Dhillon wrote a long note stating, ‘With my Haseen Dilruba- it’s been 3 Years of this roller coaster journey, Rani Kashyap- you have been a leading lady for me, not just with your immense talent - but gumption to stand with me against all odds in the endeavour to tell the most Haseen story !!’

She added, ‘Ab mere Dinesh Pandit wale avatar mein humara safar Haseen Dilruba se Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba tak ka aisa hi raha ki “jo paagalpan ki had se na guzare woh pyaar hi kya, hosh mein toh rishte nibhaye jaate hain!’

She concluded her post stating, ‘Toh Ek baar phir milenge apse -Dinesh Pandit aur Haseen Dilruba apne Rishu ke saath! Ummeed hai aapke saath ye pyaar aur mohabbat ka silsila yuhin chalta rahega!’

As for the sequel of Haseen Dilruba, the makers had already announced it as of Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba with almost the same starcast. Ever since the time the makers had announced Phir Haseen Dilruba, the excitement amongst the cinegoers is on the rise.
