Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi has dropped the teaser for his much-anticipated fantasy drama Vishwambhara during Vijayadashami celebrations. Written and directed by Mallidi Vassishta, the film marks the director's return to the genre after his successful debut with Bimbisara, a film known for blending fantasy with modern-day elements.
Vishwambhara takes audiences into a hidden world within the universe—a place teeming with mythical creatures and breathtaking landscapes. The teaser showcases dragon-like birds soaring across the skies, dinosaur-like creatures, and stunning vistas reminiscent of The Lord of the Rings' Middle-earth. However, this fantasy realm is under threat, with the rise of an evil force that seeks to disrupt the balance of the universe.

In true heroic fashion, Chiranjeevi enters the scene to save the day, riding a majestic winged horse. The superstar, dressed in denim trousers and a shirt, takes on the mythical villains with his superhuman strength, countering their supernatural powers. While the setup follows the classic trope of good versus evil, Vishwambhara’s unique setting—humans with pointy ears, winged horses, and a richly imagined world—adds a fresh layer of magic to the age-old battle.
The teaser hints that Vishwambhara will be a visual spectacle, with VFX playing a major role in bringing this fantastical universe to life. The film also stars Trisha, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Kunal Kapoor, and Ashika Ranganath in pivotal roles. While initially expected to release during the Sankranti festival next year, the release has been postponed to make way for Game Changer, a film starring Chiranjeevi's son, Ram Charan.
