Rapper Drake condoles Sidhu Moose Wala's death, shares emotional post

The unfortunate death of popular Punjabi singer and rapper Sidhu Moose Wala has left everyone shaken not only in the nation but across the world. Recently, international rapper Drake mourned his demise with an emotional post on his social media handle. The rapper took to Instagram stories and posted a photo of the late Punjabi singer along with his mother. Alongside he wrote, "RIP Moose," and tagged the singer's official handle. Take a look:

Soon after his post surfaced online, fans expressed their sorrow as the two singers could not collaborate on any song. “Being a punjabi, I am a die hard fan of Sidhu Moose Wala and just tweeted before his death that I wanted a collab of him with drake. Life is so unpredictable. Always loved his vibe. I’ll miss him,” wrote a fan on Twitter. Another commented, “I always had the feeling that Sidhu and Drake would collab one day because they both have links to Toronto and it would have been massive for the Punjabi music industry, it's a shame we'll never see it happen now.”

Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Jawaharke village of Mansa district in Punjab on Sunday, May 29. The incident took place just a day after the Punjab police withdrew the security of 424 people, including that of Moose Wala. The step was taken by Bhagwant Mann-led government to end the VIP culture in the state. According to police sources, Canada-based Goldy Brar has claimed responsibility for the murder of Moosewala.

The shocking news of his death shattered the entertainment industry and several celebrities expressed grief on their respective social media handles. Actor Ranveer Singh posted a picture of the singer and captioned it as “ Dil da ni mada…” with a heartbroken emoji. While Vicky Kaushal had written the same line from Sidhu Moose Wala’s song and wrote ‘Dil da ni mada’.

Moose Wala, 28, had established his name as a Punjabi singer with chartbusters like Jatt Da Muqabla, Dollar, So high, and Bambiha Bole.
