Tiger Shroff to play Rashmika Mandanna’s wacky lover in Karan Johar backed next; has an equally eccentric title to go with it

Tiger Shroff is all set to romance Pushpa actress Rashmika Mandanna in an action entertainer being produced under Karan Johar ’s Dharma Production. Reportedly, the film has been titled Screw Dheela , derived from the wacky character of Tiger in the movie directed by Shashank Khaitan. The first schedule of the shooting is expected to begin in September and will be shot in the scenic landscape of Portugal as per reports.

The upcoming movie in the offing will mark the second collaboration between Tiger and Karan Johar after Student of The Year 2. Also, Tiger will be sharing screen space with Rashmika for the first time with the project. It is being said that the film falls in the zone that Tiger has not yet explored. With action-packed sequences, the movie will also have a strong story too. And Tiger’s character is quite eccentric as the title of the movie.

There are reports suggesting that the movie will be filmed In India and abroad with the first schedule to kickstart in Europe. Earlier, it was said that number of action and chase sequences, romantic scenes will be filmed on a three-week schedule in Portugal. The locations include Portugal’s historic Belem Tower, Aveiro, Palácio Nacional da Pena, and Serra da Estrela (Portugal’s highest mountain range)among many others have reportedly been selected for the shot.

Meanwhile, Tiger is currently shooting for Ganapath directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Pooja Entertainment. The film stars Kriti Sanon in the female lead and is set to release in 2023. Besides it, Tiger also has another actioner, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan alongside Akshay Kumar directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.

On the other hand, south sensation Rashmika Mandanna is set to make her Bollywood debut with Mission Majnu co-starring Sidharth Malhotra. She will also be seen in Goodbye with Neena Gupta and Amitabh Bachchan. She also has Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal co-starring Ranbir Kapoor in the pipeline. In South, Rashmika Mandanna is busy shooting for her upcoming film, Varisu with Thalapathy Vijay.
