Bowser
The first teaser for the movie adaption of one of the most iconic video game characters of all time Mario is finally out, the teaser which is under two mites long focus mostly on Bowser and his army as they sack a penguin kingdom.
First things first Jack Black who is no stranger to voice acting is amazing as Bowser and is the main highlight of the teaser, we also catch a small glimpse of Mario and of course, Chris Pratt who voices Mario and decided to forget the acting part of Voice-acting.
When it was announced that Chris Pratt would be voicing the role, the entire fanbase voiced their concern as they felt that the actor would be a poor fit to play the iconic Italian plumber.
But the actor had come out and said that the had worked with directors to craft the perfect voice for Mario, and after watching the teaser this doesn't seem to be the case.
In the teaser we hear only two voice lines from the actor “What is this place?” and “The Mushroom Kingdom, here we come!” it is clear that the actor is using his regular speaking voice and this is shameful as the rest of the trailer looks fantastic.
In a weird way, it reminds toy of the original Sonic The Hedge trailer before the fixed Sonic, where one glaring flaw brings down the whole movie, thankfully in the case of Sonic the studio realized their mistake and fixed it and now Sonic is critically and commercially successful movie franchise.
The teaser also features a small scene was Luigi is seen running and hiding in a mansion, but Princess Peach, Donkey Kong and the rest of the gang are absent.
The internet was also quick to respond to Chris Pratt with many fans taking to social media to express their thoughts, check out some of the reaction below

You can tell Jack Black put a ton of love and heart into his Bowser voice, while Chris Pratt just uh... spoke? Kinda weird but the visuals are absolutely fucking stellar, and I love the general vibe of the whole thing.
