The Lady Killer: Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar enjoy snow during shoot in Manali; See pic

As the team of The Lady Killer began shooting in Manali, the film's lead actors Bhumi Pednekar and Arjun Kapoor treated fans with a picture from the hills. They took to their respective social Instagram handle and posted the same photo with a caption that read, “Saw snow, felt cute, might delete later (not) Lady and The Lady Killer.”

In the photo, Bhumi and Arjun are dressed in winter clothes and posed in front of a sheet of snow and laughing out in joy. Soon after the post surfaced online, director Aanand L Rai commented, “Two genuine people with genuine smiles,” with heart emojis, while actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani wrote, “Arre arre arre. Kya baat hai.” Take a look:

Directed by Ajay Bahl, The Lady Killer is a suspense drama that is backed by Bhushan Kumar and Shaailesh R Singh. The film marks the first collaboration of Arjun with Bhumi onscreen. Talking about the film, Arjun had earlier said, “When the script of The Lady Killer came my way, I was hooked! It was gripping, intriguing & emotionally charged I couldn’t put the script down from the moment I started reading it. I am very excited to be a part of this journey with my amazing producers Bhushan sir Shaailesh sir and of course my director Ajay Bahl sir. I can’t wait to begin prep for my role, it’s going to be my most challenging role yet but I’m excited!”

On the other hand, Bhumi was thrilled to embark on the new journey and had said, “I’m always excited when something new and challenging comes my way and The Lady Killer gripped me from the very start. As an artist, this role pushes me out of my comfort zone and gives me a lot to bite into. I can’t wait to start work on the film with Arjun, my director Ajay Bahl and my stellar producers Bhushan sir and Shaailesh sir.”

Meanwhile, besides The Lady Killer, Arjun will next be seen in Ek Villain Returns which is Mohit Suri’s 2014 sequel to superhit Ek Villain. The film also stars John Abraham, Disha Patani, and Tara Sutaria. Besides it, the actor also has Vishal Bhardwaj’s Kuttey alongside Tabu, Naseeruddin Shah, and Konkana Sen Sharma.

While Bhumi also has interesting projects in her kitty including Dharma Production’s Govinda Naam Mera alongside Vicky Kaushal, Akshay Kumar starrer Raksha Bandhan, and Anubhv Sinha’s Bheed alongside Rajkummar Rao.
