The Greatest Of All Time - CSK players to make cameos in Vijay’s film? Ajmal Ameer spills the beans

Thalapathy Vijay-starrer The Greatest of All Time has been generating a lot of buzz lately. Ever since the first single ‘Whistle Podu’ was released, fans have been excited to get more updates about the film. In the latest development, actor Ajmal Ameer, who is playing a pivotal role in the Venkat Prabhu directorial, spilled the beans on the upcoming sci-fi action thriller.  

Ajmal Ameer on CSK players’ cameos

Ajmal Ameer revealed that there will be cameo appearances of a few Chennai Super Kings’ players in the Greatest of All Time, however, he refrained from naming the said players. Fans have been thrilled to hear this speculation from the actor and have been wondering who the players could be. Many fans believe that MS Dhoni or Ravindra Jadeja could be the ones Ajmal referred to. Nonetheless, the news about surprising cameo appearances of CSK players in the Thalapathy-starrer has further added to the buzz around the much-anticipated film. 

Venkat Prabhu’s love for cricket

Director Venkat Prabhu's admiration for cricket comes as no surprise. The Tamil director, who is known for his successful cricket-based films Chennai 600028 parts 1 and 2, is set to make waves with his upcoming movie, The Greatest of All Time. As a devoted fan of the Chennai Super Kings, Venkat Prabhu seems poised to incorporate his passion for the team into the film. Combining cricket with a sci-fi actioner? Well, it's a quintessential Venkat Prabhu movie, and we are eagerly anticipating the magic he brings to the screen. 

The GOAT second single - a romantic track?

Ajmal Ameer also raved about the Thalapathy Vijay-starrer, stating that the upcoming film is going to be a ‘complete mass masala package’. He said that the film will be loved by audiences with a lot of family sentiments. While the first single ‘Whistle Podu’ was a peppy party number, Ajmal hinted that the second single could be a romantic track. Although there are three leading ladies in the film, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sneha and Laila, we don't know who will be paired opposite Thalapathy Vijay! 

Meanwhile, The Greatest of All Time is slated to have a grand theatrical release on September 5, 2024.
