Tamil actor Jiiva survives car crash, lashes out at onlookers in viral video

Tamil actor Jiiva and his wife narrowly escaped serious injury after being involved in a car accident on Wednesday. This isn't the first time Jiiva has found himself at the centre of controversy. Recently, he clashed with a media person during a public event, when he was asked to comment on the Hema Committee report, which has raised concerns about the treatment of women in the Malayalam film industry.

Visibly upset at the timing of the question, Jiiva responded angrily, saying, "Such issues don’t happen in the Tamil industry; they only happen in Kerala." His remarks sparked backlash on social media, with many criticizing the actor for downplaying the importance of safety in the Tamil film industry.
