Sushmita Sen on breakup with Rohman Shawl: "When we leave gracefully, we must do that 100%"

Reports had started during the rounds this month that Sushmita Sen and boyfriend, model Rohman Shawl have parted ways. Soon, the Aarya actress took to social media to confirm the news and reveal that the relationship was long over, but the friendship still remains. Now, in a recent interview, Sushmita has spoken in detail about her breakup with Rohman.

In an interview with HT, Sushmita said that closure matters a lot to her. She said, "It is not fair for his life or your life to be stuck with everyone feeling something or thinking it’s a relationship.” She further added, “Closure is important for both people so that they can move on in their lives. And yeah, the friendship always remains. At my age, if I sit and start thinking about the terrible thing, it is really my life that I wasted”.

Sen also added, “I’m 100% person. When I’m in love, I’m 100%. So, when we leave gracefully, we must do that 100%. Whatever the reason be, your life is not about being in a loop. The truth is incredible because it allows people to remain friends and to be good to each other. The world needs that love. There’s enough problems in it already”.

Rohman and Sushmita had been dating for a long time. Rohman had become a part of Sushmita's family, and had participated in a father's race in Sushmita's daughter Alisha's school as well. They served major goals to all of us out here. She also added that she has grown with every relationship and feels that it is beautiful to be able to speak one's truth. Sushmita was recently seen in the second season of Aarya, where she returned as the titular character.
