Suriya shares his workout routine for the upcoming period-action movie 'Suriya 42'

Suriya who currently preparing for his role in the upcoming period action-drama movie ' Suriya 42 ', shared his workout routine for the movie.

'Suriya 42' is an epic period drama which is directed by Siva, marking the first collaboration between Surya and the director.

The movie will also be the first on-screen pairing of Suriya with popular Bollywood actress Disha Patani, recently Siva revealed that Suriya will be sporting 13 unique looks in the movie.

According to a report almost 60% of Suriya 42 has been completed and the next schedule is expected to start in March of this year.

The movie is a period drama and Suriya will be playing the role of five different characters in the movie. This will beat the actor's previous record of 10 different looks which he set in his 2009 movie 'Ayan'.

Director Siva's last movie was the 2021 action movie 'Annaatthe', which starred superstar Rajinikanth in the lead despite mixed reviews from critics the movie was a massive success at the box office and grossed over 250 crores worldwide.

The Hindi remake rights along with the satellite, digital, and theatre distribution rights for the movie’s Hindi version were brought by producer Jayantilal Gada for a whopping 100 crores.

The music for the movie is being helmed by Devi Sri Prasad, Cinmetogrohy by Vetri Palanisamy, and finally, the editing will be done by Nishadh Yusuf.

The cast of the movie includes Suriya, Disha Patani, Mrunal Thakur, Yogi Babu, Kovai Sarala, Redin Kingsley, and Anandraj.

Suriya 42 is expected to hit theaters worldwide in the latter half of 2023.

Meanwhile, Suriya will also play a major role in the upcoming installments in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe(LCU), with Lokesh's recent announcement that a spinoff movie about Rolex with Suriya in the lead was already in the works.

There are also rumors that he will also have a cameo in the third installment of the LCU, Leo which stars Thalapathy Vijay in the lead and is currently being filmed in Kashmir.
