Happy Birthday, Vadivelu! On the Tamil comedian-actor’s special day, the makers of his next film unveiled the first-look poster and title. Headlined by Sundar C and Vadivelu, the upcoming film has been titled Gangers. The makers shared the first-look poster from the film and wrote: “The kings of comedy are back on their throne. #SundarC and #Vadivelu, as the ultimate #Gangers, are here to slay the laughter game. Gangers’ first-look poster
The new poster showcases the two protagonists in quirky and witty avatars as they promise to deliver a family entertainer together. Vadivelu, who mesmerized the audiences with his impressive serious get-up in Maamannan, is all set to don a comical avatar for his next. Interestingly, the film also marks their reunion after a hiatus of 14 years. Actress Catherine Tresa will be making a comeback to Tamil cinema after her last outing, Aruvam (2019).
Sundar and Vadivelu were last seen together in the 2010 film Nagaram Marupakkam. Although the makers have been tight-lipped about the details of the project, the new posters and stills from the film have excited fans who are eagerly awaiting to witness the hit combo on the big screen soon! Directed by Sundar C, the film is produced by Benzz Media Pvt Ltd. Khushbu will present the film under the Avni Cinemax banner.

For the unversed, Sundar C and Vadivelu have previously collaborated on a number of films such as Winner, London, and Thalainagaram, all of which were praised by audiences for their comic and commercial aspects.

Meanwhile, Vadivelu, who was last seen in P. Vasu’s horror-comedy Chandramukhi 2, will be seen in Maareesan alongside his Maamannan co-star Fahadh Faasil.
On the other hand, Sundar C has a couple of exciting projects in the pipeline, including the action thriller One 2 One, written and directed by K. Thirugnanam.
This film will see Sundar C and Anurag Kashyap clashing in complete action avatars. Additionally, Sundar C will star in Vallan, which is scheduled for release later this year.
