‘Shouldn't have been edited’: Shah Rukh Khan fans go gaga over Pathaan’s extended version on OTT

After what seems like a really long wait, Shah Rukh Khan ’s much anticipated comeback film Pathaan has finally arrived on the digital platform. The extended version, with scenes which did not make it to the theatre, is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Soon after SRK’s announcement video sharing the news, many fans rushed to the OTT platform to binge watch the action entertainer, which also stars Deepika Padukone as a fellow agent along with John Abraham as the badass antagonist. Well, the early reviews are in and netizens can’t get enough of the extra footage!

All around social media, fans are going gaga over the scene where Shah Rukh returns to the headquarters of JOCR and another scene where he is being tortured. One social media user shared, “The scenes from #Pathaan extended version are cool and cruel! 🔥Shouldn't have been edited. Torture scene 😨 Entry scene 😎👌.” Meanwhile, another netizen tweeted: “The extended version is😍🔥. Those deleted scenes shouldn't have been deleted in the first place. The extra scenes added to the Extended Cut of #Pathaan should all have been included in the theatrical version. Maybe the torture scene could have been edited to be less gory though. But all the scenes make the narrative stronger. Glad we got this version #PathaanOnPrime

While the deleted scenes are being loved by all, another reason why Pathaan is trending on social media is Bollywood’s Bhaijaan’s cameo as Tiger . Well, Shah Rukh will soon return the favor in Tiger 3 when he joins Salman and Katrina Kaif as Pathaan. Too much fun! Apart from his cameo in Tiger 3, SRK is currently busy gearing up for his next two much awaited releases. He will be sharing the screen for the first time ever with Taapsee Pannu in Rajkumar Hirani’s next directorial Dunki. The superstar is also joining hands with Atlee Kumar for the much talked about action thriller Jawan. Also starring Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Sanya Malhotra, Jawan will feature exciting cameos by Deepika, Sanjay Dutt and South superstar Thalapathy Vijay.
