Shilpa Shetty announces her next film Sukhee with a quirky poster; describes her character as ‘bedhadak, besharam’

Actor Shilpa Shetty on Tuesday announced her next feature film Sukhee. The movie, to be directed by Sonal Joshi, is backed by Abundantia Entertainment and T-Series. Shetty, 46, took to her official social media handle and shared the film's poster. Along with the same, she wrote: “Thodi bedhadak si hoon main, Meri zindagi hai khuli kitaab, Duniya besharam kehti hai to kya, Kisi se kam nahin hain mere khwaab! Thrilled to announce my next, In and As #Sukhee with @abundantiaent & @tseriesfilms! Directed by @random_amusements. @tseries.official @ivikramix @shikhaarif.sharma #BhushanKumar.”

The quirky poster features Shilpa with multiplethings in her hands including a wallet, a cabbage, a watch, a tiffin box and an iron. Meanwhile, there is a halo over her head on which we see the actress dancing, singing and riding a horse. Shetty was last seen in Hungama 2 last year alongside Paresh Rawal, Meezaan Jafri and Pranitha Subhash. The comedy marked her return to the silver screen 14 long years after Apne, which released in 2007. Interestingly, Hungama 2 also marked filmmaker Priyadarshan’s return to Bollywood after a gap of 8 years.

The actor will next be seen in the action romantic comedy Nikamma, co-starring Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia, which has been directed by Sabbir Khan. Meanwhile, details about Sukhee are still under wraps.
