Shaitaan Teaser: Ajay Devgn, Jyotika are scared by menacing R Madhavan in this dark thriller, netizens say 'Katai jahr'

The three powerhouses of talents Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan and Jyotika have come together for a supernatural thriller Shaitaan. Ever since the announcement was made, fans have been eagerly waiting for the first glimpse. Much to their delight, the makers have unveiled the teaser and netizens are already impressed by the thrill and suspense elements packed in the upcoming film.

Taking to Instagram, Ajay shared the much-awaited teaser and wrote, “Woh poochega tumse... ek khel hai, kheloge? Par uske behkaave mein mat aana!” The short clip opens with Madhavan’s voice in the background taking the viewers into the world of evil. Next, Ajay and Jyotika are seen petrified as Madhavan enters the frame with a sinister smile. Going by the teaser, the film promises a genre-defining edge of the seat experience.

Reacting to the adrenaline pumping teaser, a user said, “Naa koi talvaar or na hi koi gun.. is baar shaitaan ke khatme ke liye kaafi hai "Devgan" tham ke baitho dil ko control kar ke "Mann" .. dhool chatayenge "shaitan" ko Main aap or Devgan.” The second user commented, “Now my excitement has increased even more.” The third user reacted, “No doubt, it's going to be a masterpiece.””Gujarati movie vash ki copy hai ye…,” added another user.

Shaitaan is directed by Vikas Bahl and is based on the backdrop of Black Magic. Presented by Devgn Films, Jio Studios, and Panorama Studios, the film is bankrolled by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak. It is set to arrive in theatres on March 8, 2024.

Meanwhile, Ajay was last seen in Bholaa, a remake of Tamil film Kaithi alongside Tabu and Deepak Dobriyal. Up next, he has Maidaan, Singham Again, Auron Mei Kahan Dum Tha and Raid 2 in the pipeline. Madhavan was recently seen in The Railway Men co-starring Kay Kay Menon, Babil Khan and Divyendu. He will next be seen in Test, Amriki Pandir, The Untold Story of C Sankraran Nair and an untitled Tamil film. Jyotika was last seen in the Malayalam film Kaathal - The Core.
