Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri's untitled next with Vishal Bhardwaj gets a release date

On Wednesday, December 18, the official announcement of Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri's next with director Vishal Bhardwaj was shared on social media. The official Twitter handle of Sajid Nadiadwala's production house shared the release date of the untitled film. The film also features Nana Patekar and Randeep Hooda in important roles.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, December 17, Shahid teased his fans by sharing a mirror selfie. Without giving away much in his cryptic post, he wrote, "Prep time ... Naya saal naya maal .....Next character next film what can I do that I haven't before .......lost in the woods..... But you can't be original if you aren't ready to be lost ...... DEVA was dark and menacing yet vulnerable and noble ..... who will this new guy be ...... No friggin clue so far ....... But what a joy to discover yet again what lies within. Sliding into the edgy nasty gangster 90s."

Earlier, Pinkvilla reported that Shahid and Triptii's film is titled Arjun Ustara. The makers are yet to announce the title. It was also reported that a massive set is being constructed in Mumbai and a team of over 500 people is working to create the elaborate set-up. The source told the portal, "The makers are aiming to recreate Mumbai from the era gone by, as the premise of the film is set against the backdrop of the underworld in the Post-Independence era."

Shahid has previously worked with Vishal on films like Kaminey, Haider, and Rangoon.

Apart from this film, Shahid has a film titled Deva alongside Pooja Hegde. On the other hand, Triptii has Dhadak 2 with Siddhant Chaturvedi.
