Earlier this year, Bollywood’s king Shah Rukh Khan made his much anticipated comeback after a self-hiatus of 5 long years with Pathaan . It was a delight to see him shine on the silver screen again whereas his chemistry with Deepika Padukone was no less than a treat. Well, fans are now eagerly waiting for the superstar to return to theatres with his back to back releases. Currently he is busy shooting for Atlee Kumar’s upcoming film Jawan . As we already know, Deepika will be reuniting with SRK in a special cameo in this action thriller.
For the uninitiated, reports suggest that Deepika’s cameo in Jawan will be very different from Salman Khan’s cameo as Tiger in Pathaan because the actress is only joining Shah Rukh for a song. That is still equally exciting! Much to our delight, unseen pictures from set have now gone viral on social media featuring the reigning king and queen of Bollywood. These behind the scene pictures will take you back to Om Shanti Om days when we used to gush over Deepika and SRK’s chemistry in songs like Dhoom Taana.
While Deepika looks gorgeous in a white shirt with a deep neckline paired with black baggy pants, Shah Rukh is twinning with her in a matching outfit. It honestly seems like the handsome superstar is aging in reverse in these photographs. In another snap, the two have red scarves tied around their necks and are holding a matching jacket in their hands. These unseen pictures will surely get you even more excited for Deepika and SRK’s song in Jawan!
Also starring Nayanthara and Sanya Malhotra in the lead along with Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist, and Sanjay Dutt and Thalapathy Vijay in incredible cameos, Jawan is all set to arrive in theatres on 2nd June. How excited are you?
