Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu has extended her solidarity with the Isha Yoga Foundation, run by spiritual leader Sadhguru, which is currently under police investigation. In her Instagram story, Samantha referred to Isha Foundation as "a home away from home." Her reaction follows a two-day raid conducted by Tamil Nadu police, as per directions from the Madras High Court.
The court ordered the investigation after hearing a habeas corpus petition, directing the police to carry out searches and report on the criminal cases against Isha Yoga Foundation. Following this order, a team of 150 police officers raided the foundation's premises in Coimbatore.

On Thursday, the Supreme Court intervened, preventing the Tamil Nadu police from taking further action against the spiritual school founded by Sadhguru.
Samantha has been associated with the foundation for many years, attending annual Maha Shivratri celebrations and following Sadhguru's teachings. She is one of several high-profile followers of Sadhguru, including Hollywood actor Will Smith.
Meanwhile, Samantha finds herself at the centre of controversy after Telangana Forest Minister Konda Surekha invoked her past marriage while making allegations against political rival KT Rama Rao. Surekha alleged that KTR had a negative influence on Samantha's marriage to Naga Chaitanya, leading to their divorce. The comments sparked outrage, with members of the Telugu film industry, including Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun, Jr NTR, and Nani, condemning Surekha's statements.
“To be a woman, to come out and work, to survive in a glamorous industry where women are more often than not treated as props, to fall in love and fall out of love, to still stand up and fight — it takes a lot of courage and strength,” Samantha said in her statement. Addressing Konda Surekha directly, she added, “I am proud of what this journey has turned me into — please don’t trivialize it. I hope you realize that your words carry significant weight as a minister."
