Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani Box Office Day 7: Alia and Ranveer starrer is unstoppable, might enter 100 cr club soon

Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh’s recently released family dramedy Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was showered with rave reviews. Not just celebrities and fans but even critics gave the Karan Johar directorial a big thumbs up. But did the film pass its box office test? Well, kind of. Rocky and Rani’s adorable love story won hearts and also saw a lukewarm opening day with a collection of Rs 11.10 crore. However, it grew by a huge margin over the weekend and also passed the Monday test with flying colours. It has now entered its first week and is still unstoppable.

On day 6, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani collected Rs 6.90 crore taking the total collection to Rs 67.12 crore. Well, the collection for the first week has now been revealed and it is decent. According to the latest report shared by industry tracker Sacnilk, the Alia and Ranveer starrer managed to rake in Rs 6.25 crore on day seven, which means the film has collected over Rs 73 crore in the first week. If we look at the budget of KJo’s film, the collection is not good enough. However, thanks to word of mouth and no major releases this week, we are expecting Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani to enter the 100 crore club by the end of this weekend.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani marks Alia and Ranveer’s second film together. It was like a much anticipated reunion of the versatile actors after their blockbuster hit film Gully Boy, where they won us over with their chemistry. This time, Alia played the role of Rani Chatterjee, a TV anchor who belongs to a Bengali family. Ranveer, on the other hand, left fans in awe of his portrayal of Rocky Randhawa, a typical Punjabi munda.
