Ramayana: Ranbir Kapoor's selfie with Ajinkya Deo has gone viral! Here’s why!

Being the son of the veteran Marathi actors Ramesh Deo and Seema Deo, Ajinkya Deo has surely carved his own identity and niche in the entertainment industry. Best known for his on-screen presence and intense dialogue delivery, he has an extremely strong and cult fanbase! Besides being a prominent name and face in the Marathi entertainment industry, Ajinkya Deo has been seen in a (comparative) letter Hindi projects.

The Hindi projects of which Ajinkya Deo was a part of include the Anupam Kher and Rekha starrer Sansaar, Paandav, Aan: Men at Work, David and the more recent Ajay Devgn starrer Tanhaji and the Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. For all those who were yearning to see him on the silver screen again, here is some good news for you. The stellar actor will now be seen with the suave Ranbir Kapoor in the much talked about historic project.

Just a day before, Ajinkya Deo took to social media and posted an extremely feel-good selfie of his along with Ranbir Kapoor. The actor, after posting the said photograph, went onto caption the same stating, ‘So now for the clarification on this photo doing Ramayan with RK playing a stellar role of Vishwamitra so once again a reason to celebrate’.

No sooner did he post the selfie with Ranbir Kapoor, Ajinkya Deo’s comment box was almost overflowing with messages from fans and followers. While one netizen wrote, ‘Congratulations sir for this opportunity. Wishing you the very best’, there was another who wrote, ‘Good luck and can’t wait to see you in the dynamic role of Vishwamitra’. Another user wrote, ‘All the best sir! We cannot wait to see you guys on the big screen’. A netizen commented, ‘Wahh dada wahh... Eagerly waiting to see you in this role’.

For the unversed, Ajinkya Deo will be now seen in the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Ramayana. As for the film, while Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in the iconic role of Lord Rama, Ajinkya Deo will be seen portraying the role of Vishwamitra.

Besides Ranbir Kapoor and Ajinkya Deo, the film will also star Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, and Yash. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film has been scheduled to be released during Diwali 2025.
