Superstar Rajinikanth is set to undergo an elective procedure on Tuesday. He was admitted to a hospital in Chennai on Monday evening, triggering widespread concern among his fans and well-wishers. However, recent reports clarify that Rajinikanth's health did not face any sudden deterioration, nor was he admitted due to an emergency.

Rajinikanth had been filming his latest movie, Coolie, in Hyderabad until September 28. He returned to Chennai earlier this week to prepare for the procedure.

On the professional front, Rajinikanth remains busy with multiple projects. Filming for Coolie is progressing at a fast pace, while he also recently promoted his upcoming movie Vettaiyan, which is set to hit theatres next week.
