After the success of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa: Rise, the makers have started working on the second part, Pushpa: The Rule . Amid this, the reports of Rashmika’s character dying in the forthcoming part began circulating on the internet. Recently, the film producer Y Ravi Shankar cleared the air saying that it is a piece of false news.
For the unversed, Rashmika played the role of Srivalli , the love interest of Allu’s character in the Pushpa: The Rise . Fans loved their chemistry in the action thriller that grossed more than Rs 300 crore at the box office worldwide.

Quashing the rumours of Srivalli’s death in the upcoming part, Producer Y Ravi Shankar told Pinkvilla, “That’s (the reports) all trash. This is all nonsense. Until now we didn’t hear the story to be fair and frank, so it’s not like that, and all these are speculations. At this point of time you write anything on that film, no one knows anything about that, so they believe in it. This is being carried by other websites and TV channels also, but it's false news." When specifically asked if the character lives on, the producer confirmed that she will be there in the second part. “Ya ya, sure," he added.
Pushpa: The Rise is the first film of the Pushpa franchise which saw Allu playing the role of a lorry driver and a sandalwood smuggler. The film also starred Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the special song O Antaava, which became an instant hit among the audiences. Shot in Telugu, the film was dubbed and released in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Now, in the second part, the makers will reportedly show Allu’s rule over the sandalwood business and his face-off with Fahadh Faasil, an IPS officer who attempts to bring down his illegal business. It was earlier reported that Samantha may also feature in the second part which will go on floors soon.
