According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Pushpa 2: The Rule earned massive numbers on its opening day, securing the top opening records with ₹289 crores. On day 3, the film grossed ₹383 crores across India. On Saturday alone, it netted approximately ₹115.58 crores in India, surpassing Friday's earnings and bringing the cumulative total to ₹383.7 crores. The Hindi version led the earnings with ₹73.5 crores, followed by the Telugu version at ₹31.5 crores, and the Tamil version at ₹7.5 crores. On Friday, Pushpa 2 recorded a collection of ₹93.8 crores. Globally, the film has become the fastest Indian film to enter the ₹600 crore club. Going by the trends, the film is sure to cross ₹1,000 crores before its first Monday.
Allu Arjun thanks Pawan Kalyan and Andhra Pradesh government for ticket price hike
At the recent success meet of Pushpa 2: The Rule, leading man Allu Arjun expressed his deep gratitude to Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for his significant role in the film's success. Arjun credited Kalyan's efforts for the special government order (GO) that allowed ticket price hikes, describing it as a crucial factor in boosting the movie's reach and reception.
"I would like to thank Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan garu for being the key reason behind the GO allowing ticket price hikes," Allu Arjun said during his speech.
During his address, Arjun conveyed heartfelt thanks to Kalyan, acknowledging his personal and professional impact. He also commended the Andhra Pradesh government and praised Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for his unwavering support of the film industry, highlighting Naidu's consistent advocacy and contributions to its growth.
