Pushpa 2 on OTT: Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer to arrive on Netflix post theatrical release

All the Allu Arjun fans, kindly assemble! The OTT streaming platform Netflix just dropped a bombshell of news. The much-awaited sequel to Pushpa, titled Pushpa 2: The Rule will be released on the OTT platform after its theatrical release. Fans will surely be on cloud nine to learn this streaming update even before the release of the movie in the theatres.

Talking about the same, the official Instagram handle of Netflix shared the fierce poster of Allu in the form of Goddess Kali which had also sparked loads of controversy. The caption read, “Pushpa is about to come out of hiding and he's coming to RULE! #Pushpa2: The rule is coming soon on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi as a post theatrical release! #NetflixPandaga.” Take a look at the same.

No sooner was the post shared than fans also started reacting to the same. One of the netizens stated, “Netflix Wale ne 2024 mein Kasam khaa lii hai Jeetna movie webseries ayega usko hum launch karenge.” A user said, “Netflix surprised us a year ago too and they are doing it again. Excited.” A netizen went on to add, “Kuch zyada hi jaldi nahi kharid rahe ho sari movies ke ott rights.” A user went on to say, “Lag raha h netflix k pass bohot paisa aa gaya h kisi bhi movie ko nahi chodhega . Ye sab high level ki movie ki rights kharid ke aur paisa aa jaayega. Netflix be like: sabka baap mein hu.”

Meanwhile, Pushpa 2 is slated to release on Independence Day this year ie August 15, 2024. The makers have a target to wrap up the shooting of the movie by the end of May. The film will be directed by Sukumar. Rashmika Mandanna will reprise her role as Pushpa’s love interest Srivallu in the sequel movie.
