Not Hrithik Roshan but THIS South superstar to play Dev in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s Brahmāstra 2?

Ranbir Kapoor won hearts as Shiva in Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva, whereas Alia Bhatt ’s character Isha received mixed reactions from audiences. Mouni Roy, on the other hand, left all of us highly impressed with her spectacular performance as antagonist Junoon while Amitabh Bachchan was his magnificent self. But one of the most talked about characters of Ayan Mukerji’s film is Dev, whose face was kept a mystery till the very end. Now the biggest question on all our minds is who will play the role of Dev in Brahmāstra 2?

Earlier reports suggested that along with Ranbir and Alia, Bollywood’s reigning queen Deepika Padukone has been roped in for the sequel of Brahmāstra to take the story ahead. Rumors then stated that her husband Ranveer Singh might join her, but later it was said that Hrithik Roshan is in talks with the makers for Dev’s character. Well, the latest report shared by Pinkvilla has now revealed that South superstar Yash , who broke all records at the box office with K.G.F: Chapter 1 and K.G.F: Chapter 2, has been approached to play Dev.

The report also suggests that makers of Karna are keen to get Yash on board too. A source was quoted saying, “After KGF 2, Excel is looking to team up with Yash again on something big and special. They have signed up with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra for Karna, a mythological epic based on Mahabharata. ROMP and Excel are keen to get Yash on board to play the titular role in the two-part epic.”

Yash is yet to give his nod to these exciting projects. But if he does, then Brahmāstra 2 could mark his Bollywood debut. Promising, don’t you think?
