Updated : August 19, 2022 12:16 PM ISTAfter releasing on theatres, Ranbir Kapoor’s period action film Shamshera has now arrived on the digital platform. Many fans have already binge-watched it and have even shared their reviews on social media.
Ranbir Kapoor , who delivered one of his most versatile performances in Sanju four years ago, made his big Bollywood comeback with Shamshera a few months ago. Fans were delighted to see him again on the silver screen, that too in a double role for the first time ever. However, the period action film failed miserably at the box office and the entire team was brutally trolled. Ranbir’s return was a treat and fans were in awe of Vaani Kapoor too. But sadly Shamshera did not impress audiences or critics.
Well, the film has now arrived on Amazon Prime Video and has been binge-watched by many members of the audience, who did not go to theatres in July when Shamshera had originally released. A fresh verdict is now out and there are many netizens who see potential in the Ranbir starrer. For instance, one fan wrote: “#Shamshera - Enjoyed the first half, the second half gets boring in some places but overall I liked it. Ranbir & Sanjay were both good. The movie is visually very nice & different compared to other Bollywood films. Overall, not great but not bad either.”

If the same movie made in south then it could be mass entertainer....but i liked the movie #Shamshera https://t.co/f7YgmkJyDa

Yeasterday, I watched #Shamshera movie on #PrimeVideo. It is good but it could be better. But #Bollywood industry needs to work on #VFX, it is so low quality as comparing with #Tollywood #Bahubali2 #RRR. I think #VFX plays a very important role to attract people. #Janmashtami

Another fan even claimed that if Shamshera was made in the South industry, it would have emerged as a mass entertainer because it is a good film. However, there are also many who are disappointed. One tweet read: “#Shamshera Uff god..what a torture this movie is..good that its on ott..i fast forwarded n finished in 20mins..for a guy who has never done an action hero role..just using beard wont help..outdated 90s ka story..flop written all over it!”

Believe me watch this movie nd figure out this movie has no HEAD OR TOE. Seems like some FASCINATED HINDUPHOBIC College student has written the script.
@PrimeVideoIN why are you putting money on crap movies like #Shamshera when you can produce gazillion times better content at a fraction of cost 🙈
