Nani starrer 'Dasara' inches closer to the 100 crore club as the movie crosses 87 crores at the box office

The Telugu revenge drama Dasara is still going strong at the box office and has grossed over 87 crores in just four days. The movie grossed an impressive 38 crores on its opening day making it one of the best openings In Nani 's career.
The movie is a rural drama set in the late 80s and early 90s and is set against the backdrop of the Singareni coal mines in Telangana.
Nani will be playing the role of Dharani and from the first look of the character which came out a while back that the movie may explore similar themes and aesthetics as Allu Arjun's Pushpa.
The shooting for the upcoming action-drama movie officially wrapped earlier this month. The movie marks the directorial debut of Srikanth Odela and stars Keerthy Suresh and Nani.
The movie was well revied by critics and audiences alike with many praising the performances of Nai and Keerthy Suresh. The movie is directed by debutant Srikanth Odela.
The production for the movie began in March 2022. Dasara is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas.
The music for the movie is Santhosh Narayanan, with the first single titled 'Dhoom Dhaam Dhosthaan' being released in October of 2022 and receiving positive reactions from critics and fans.
The movie marks the second collaboration between Nani and Keerthy Suresh, the pair previously shared the screen for the 2017 romantic comedy Nenu Local. The movie was directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina.
The cinematography for the movie is being done by Sathyan Sooryan, with editing being handled by National Award winner Naveen Nooli.
The movie was made on a budget of 65 crores and the OTT rights for the movie have been bagged by streaming giant Netflix.
Joining Keerthy Suresh and Nani, the rest of the supporting cast includes Samuthirakani, Dheekshith Shetty, Meera Jasmine, Prakash Raj, Rajendra Prasad, Roshan Mathew, Sai Kumar, Zarina Wahab, and Shanna Kasim.
