Mithun Chakraborty admitted to hospital? His son Mahaakshay Chakraborty clarifies

A photo of veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty from the hospital has been going viral leaving his fans concerned about his health. However, the actor’s son Mahaakshay Chakraborty has clarified that it is the old picture of his father when he was admitted due to kidney stones, but now he is completely fit and fine.
Former Member of Parliament and BJP National Secretary Dr. Anupam Hazra had shared a photo of the veteran actor in which he can be seen lying on a hospital bed. Along with the photo, he had written "Get well soon Mithun Da". Later, several others too shared the picture on social media and had shown their concern for the actor's health. One of the Twitter users had written, "Wishing for Mithunda's speedy recovery. He is a man with a multifaceted character of magnanimity, sobriety, patriotism." Another user wrote, "Recover soon and return to us, Mithun da. God must bless you dada."

According to India Today reports, Mithun was admitted to a hospital in Karnataka after he suffered stomach ache, fever, and similar symptoms. However, he was later discharged from the hospital and is currently doing fine. Mahaakshay told Dainik Bhaskar, “He was admitted due to kidney stones. He is discharged from the hospital and now he is fit and fine and at home.”
Mithun was last seen in Vivek Agnihotri ’s The Kashmir Files , which is based on the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits in the 1990s. The film was highly acclaimed and also became successful at the box office. Besides it, he was also seen as the judge of the recently concluded talent-based reality show Hunarbaaz on Colors TV.
Meanwhile, another veteran actor Dharmendra was also recently hospitalised for two-four days due to a 'big muscle pull' but now he is back at his home and is completely fine.
