After an intriguing teaser, the makers of Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue finally dropped the much-awaited trailer on Monday. Going by the two-minute-long trailer, the film highlights the relentless efforts of Jaswant Gill played by Akshay Kumar to overcome adversities on the rescue mission. Parineeti Chopra plays his wife, who lends support when the going gets difficult.
The trailer opens with a chaotic scene when a number of miners run to save their lives after the water begins seeping into the coalfield. The news of 65 trapped miners take villagers in shock and they weep for their loved ones’ life. Then enters Jaswant Gill(Akshay Kumar) who tries to calm villagers and plan the biggest rescue mission. Ravi Kishan is seen as one of the trapper miners shouting for help. Gill embarks on a race against time to save those miners with his techniques with the help of other engineers. When things get worse, he puts his life on stake to save the miners. His wife consoles villagers and says that before being her husband he is a miner. Check out the trailer here:

Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, the film also has an ensemble cast which includes Kumud Mishra, Rajesh Sharma, Pavan Malhotra, Dibyendu Bhattacharya and Varun Badola. Sharing the trailer on Instagram, Akshay wrote, “Sardar Jaswant Singh Gill ji, eh trailer twahdi yaad vich twahdi bahaduri nu samarpit hai. 🙏 In your memory, saluting your courage. Rab rakha.” Reacting to the trailer, ome of the users wrote, “Akshay 'Content' Kumar is back. What a fantastic trailer. Goosebumps all over. Kudos the editor of this trailer. It's Perfect.” Another commented, “Blockbuster loading.”
Backed by Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Vashu Bhagnani, and Ajay Kapoor, the film is set to hit screens on October 6, 2023. The film will clash with Bhumi Pednekar’s Thank You For Coming which is releasing on the same date.
