Malaika Arora’s sister Amrita Arora spoke to ETimes saying, “She’s is fine and recovering at home now.” Reportedly, the accident happened after her car lost balance and went on to bump into three other cars near the Mumbai-Pune expressway near Khopoli. Apollo Hospital, Navi Mumbai where Malaika Arora was admitted had earlier confirmed that she will be released today.
Malaika Arora also got a CT scan which turned out to be fine. Malaika’s sister had earlier given another health update wherein she had confirmed that her sister is doing better. Apollo Hospital was quoted by ANI to reveal, “Actor Malaika has minor injuries on her forehead; CT scan has turned out fine & she is currently okay. The actor will be kept under observation for the night & will be discharged in the morning tomorrow."
A source close to the ‘Chaiya Chaiya’ star further revealed to India Today that she is shaken from the horrifying incident. The publication had quoted the source to reveal, “Malaika is shaken by the incident but doing okay. She has had a few stitches and is doing fine. She didn’t have any major head injury as she had a cushion next to her head. She should be back home by Sunday afternoon."
Talking about the incident, the Khopoli police revealed to a publication that the accident had taken place at the 38 km point on the Mumbai-Pune expressway which is very common when it comes to accidents. The police authority further said that three vehicles rammed into each other and all of them have suffered damage. The cop said that the motorist had left the accident spot immediately so it is unclear what injuries must have the person actually suffered. Reportedly, FIR will be registered to investigate the incident in detail.
