Salman Khan's niece Alizeh Agnihotri is all set to make her debut with Farrey. The superstar shared the much-awaited teaser of the same and fans liked the starlet’s acting chops from what they saw in the short clip. However, some netizens find the film’s plot similar to the Korean movie Bad Genius.
Taking to Instagram, the Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan actor intrigued fans with a cryptic note that read, “Subha subha ek Naya ‘F’ word seekha. Char baje bataunga (This morning I learnt a new F word. Will tell you more about it at 4pm.)” He finally revealed the teaser writing, “Main toh yeh F word ki baat kar raha tha, aapne kya socha! #FarreyTeaser Out Now!” Reacting to the teaser, one of the users wrote, “Mamu ki angel what a entry in Bollywood best wishes first show is house full dear.” “From the teaser, I can see that she is a good actress good luck Alizeh!”said another user. The short clip shows some students taking exams and filling up their OMR sheets. They hope to cheat by making ‘farrey’ and getting caught. Alizeh plays a student in the movie. Reacting to the plot, a section of social media users compared it with the Korean drama.”Is this a remake of a movie? it kind a gave me flashbacks but i don’t remember which movie?” wrote a confused user. Another commented, “Ye ek Korean film bad genius ki copy ka lagg rha hai.” “Watch Bad Genius instead of this shit,” said a troll.
Farrey is helmed by Soumendra Padhi, who is known for the acclaimed Netflix series Jamtara. Bankrolled by Salman Khan Films, Mythri Movie Makers, and Athena, the film also stars Sahil Mehta, Prasanna Bisht and Ronit Bose Roy in pivotal roles. It is set to hit theatres on November 24, 2023.
