Kho Gaye Hum Kahan revolves around how social media while making our life colorful can also thrust us to the dark side. We see the trio’s lives getting upside down due to the perils of social media. Siddhant’s character Imaad Ali plays a stand-up comedian who is obsessed with scrolling through dating apps. Even after he meets a good match in a woman played by Kalki, he seems to go back to the application which leads him to cheat on her.
On the other hand, Ananya plays Ahana Singh who suffers a breakup which she does not cope well with. Things further go downhill with her when she stalks her ex-boyfriend who has already chosen to move on. This leads to an acute mental and emotional turmoil. Furthermore, we see Adarsh playing Neil Pereira who wishes to collaborate with social media influencers just to get more followers and social media engagement.
However, it soon makes him realize that this is a very shallow and superficial path to venture on. It is how the trio battle their inner obstacles that form the main crux of Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. The film has been bankrolled by Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar.
