Kartik Aaryan to reunite with Imtiaz Ali for an ambitious project after Love Aaj Kal with Sara Ali Khan?

Bollywood heartthrob Kartik Aaryan has been soaring high on the success of his last release, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which also stars Kiara Advani and Tabu in the lead. He has emerged as a superstar for the audiences who can’t wait to see what he has in store next. Well, his exciting line up consists of many much awaited films including Shehzada and Freddy . But if buzz is to be believed, the latest addition to his list of upcoming projects is one which will be helmed by filmmaker Imtiaz Ali .

The actor was snapped outside Imtiaz’s office last night, and soon rumors began doing the rounds. Well, a report shared by ETimes has now suggested that the two are actually joining forces once again. A source was quoted saying, “It is true that Kartik and Imtiaz are planning to do a film together and they are currently working on getting it finalised. The subject of this new film will be in the same space that Imtiaz's stories are usually based in. It's going to be the kind of film that Imtiaz loves to make. It will be different and yet is expected to be one of the biggest films of the calendar year.”

Imtiaz’s first film with Kartik was Love Aaj Kal, a spiritual sequel to Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone ’s 2009 film of the same name. Also starring Sara Ali Khan and Randeep Hooda, the film won many hearts thanks to the sizzling chemistry between the lead pair but sadly it received mixed reviews. During his interaction with the paparazzi last night when Kartik was asked if they are meeting up for Love Aaj Kal 3, the actor laughed it off. Well, let’s see what happens!
