Kapil Sharma to collaborate again with Nandita Das for an OTT project, film to star his idol Gurdas Maan

While Kapil Sharma is busy touring for his shows in destinations like Canada and US, there is good news lurking around for his die-hard fans. Reportedly, the comedian is all set to collaborate with ace director Nandita Das again for a direct-to-OTT project. Not only this but Kapil will also be getting an opportunity to star alongside his idol and singer renowned singer Gurdas Maan .

A source close to the movie revealed to Pinkvilla, “When Kapil heard the story, he loved the idea and agreed to be a part of the project. However, the signing formalities are yet to be done. Meanwhile, the makers have already begun the pre-production work for this direct-to-OTT film, and will make the official announcement after Kapil returns to Mumbai. It will be an ensemble cast, and Kapil’s idol Gurdas Maan is also likely to feature in the project. Casting for other pivotal characters is still underway.”

Kapil Sharma has already collaborated with Nandita Das for a film that has been bankrolled by Applause Entertainment . The Kapil Sharma Show star shared a picture with Nandita and his co-star from the movie Shahana Goswami last year. The comedian had written, “Your Order is Placed. Kapil Sharma will be seen in a unique avatar of that of a food delivery boy which has gotten his fans super excited. In an earlier statement, Nandita hinted that the comedian will surprise himself and the audience in the movie. Reportedly Shahana Goswami will be playing Kapil’s wife in the movie.
