While the film has been managing to draw some footfall, its growth shows no significant improvement, especially considering its mammoth budget. On day 3, here’s how much the film has earned.

Jyotika defends Suriya’s Kanguva
Amid negative reviews, Suriya's wife and actress Jyotika defended Kanguva against early criticism and accused "multiple group propagandas" of attempting to bring down the film. In her latest Instagram post, the actress reviewed her husband's film as a 'cinema lover' and not as Suriya's wife. While she acknowledged issues with the sound effects and the first half, she praised its exceptional 3D visuals, unique execution, and bold storytelling.
The actress also criticized the media for promoting films with outdated tropes like stalking and over-the-top action while unfairly targeting ambitious projects like Kanguva. Jyotika expressed her disappointment over the lack of recognition for the film’s strengths, including its innovative women-led action sequences and emotional depth.
