Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen’s upcoming romantic drama, Kadhalikka Neramillai, is one of the much-awaited films in Kollywood. The fresh pairing of these Kollywood stars is something fans are eagerly waiting to see on the silver screen. While the filmmakers had previously completed shooting, they are yet to announce the release date.

However, according to the latest Tamil reports, the makers are aiming to release the film on December 20, 2024. Although this date is not confirmed, an official announcement with the release date and additional updates is expected soon. So far, only a brief glimpse of the film has been unveiled, with the core plot kept tightly under wraps. The principal photography of the film has been completed, and post-production work is in full swing.

Earlier, the makers released a glimpse from the Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi directorial, introducing the lead characters, played by Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen. Based on the glimpse, the film appears to center around two lovers, showing the characters enjoying an evening at a park, swinging together to AR Rahman’s soulful background score. Although the plot details have been kept a secret, fans are speculating whether the film has any connection to the evergreen Tamil classic that goes by the same title.
For those unversed, the original Kadhalikka Neramillai which released in 1964, starring veteran actors Balaiah and Rajasree, narrates the story of a man who falls in love with his boss’ daughter.
