The latest TV spot for the next installment of the Fast and Furious franchise, Fast X: End of the Road was released during the Superbowl.
The short teaser contains a lot of new footage, especially of Jason Momoa's character Dante, who will be the main villain of the movie.
Dante and Dom have a past history dating back to the events of Fast 5, in which Dom killed Dante's father, the drug kingpin Hernan Reyes.
We also get a look at Brie Larson's character Tess, who is a former secret agent who has joined forces with Dom to take on Dante.
We also catch glimpses of the returning cast members including John Cena, Charlize Theron, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, and Jason Statham.
While we will get to have a better idea of the plot after the trailer launch, we do know that Dante will be teaming with Dim's old enemy Cipher played by Chrazlie Therone, to take on Dom and his crew.
The movie is directed by Louis Leterrier known for movies like Now You See Me, Transporter 2, and The Incredible Hulk.
There is also a sequel titled Fast and the Furious: Ride or Die is also in the early stages of production and is said to be the final installment of the franchise.
The movie also boasts of an ensemble supporting cast that includes Jason Momoa, Jordana Brewster, Brie Larson, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Scott Eastwood, Michael Rooker, Daniela Melchior, Alan Ritchson, and Helen Mirren.
Along with the final entry to the main franchise, there are two more planned spinoff planned, which include a movie that will have Michelle Rodriguez's character Letty Ortiz-Toretto in the lead and the sequel to the 2019s Hobbs and Shaw with Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham reprising their roles.
Fast X: End of the Road will be hitting theaters worldwide on May 19, 2023.
