Jailer: The first single from the Rajinikanth starrer will get a new promo soon

According to the producers of Jailer, before the planned release of the first single from the movie, they will be releasing a promo for the song soon.

The first single for the upcoming action movie Jailer will be released this month. The song will be a celebration of Rajinikanth and the movie.

The music for the movie is composed by Anirudh, making it his third collaboration with Rajinikanth, after Petta and Darbar.

In Jailer Rajinikanth plays the role of a Muthuvel Pandian the warden of the notorious prison. However, the plot of the movie remains under wraps.

But there is a rumor floating around that in the movie warden Muthuvel Pandian will have to protect his prison after a group of armed thugs breaks in to rescue their captured leader.

The movie will be the first time Rajinikanth will be working with director Nelson, The director's last movie was Beast which starred Vijay in the lead role.

Jailer will also be the first time Rajinikanth will be working with Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar, the movie also marks the actor's Tamil debut.

Tamannaah Bhatia has been roped in to play a major role in the movie, marking the first time the actress will be sharing the big screen with Superstar Rajinikanth.

Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff has also joined the cast of the movie. This will be the second time Rajinikanth and Jackie Shroff will be working together after the 1987 Bollywood movie 'Uttar Dakshin'.

Director Nelson roped in Malayalam superstar Mohanlal for a cameo in the movie. The project was announced by Sun Pictures in February and production officially started in July with shooting taking place in Chennai, Hyderabad, and Coimbatore.

The Cinematography for Jailer is handled by Vijay Kartik Kannan and R. Nirmal is in charge of the editing.

The movie has an ensemble cast that includes Shiva Rajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, and Vinayakan.

Jailer will be dubbed in all major Indian languages and is expected to hit theaters worldwide on August 10.
