NTR NEEL project
Ever since Jr NTR and Salaar director Prashanth Neel announced a project together, fans have been eagerly awaiting updates on when the film will commence shooting. Jr NTR is currently gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated film Devara, but the latest buzz suggests that he will soon begin his project with Prashanth Neel. According to Telugu reports, the makers of the NTR-NEEL project are planning to launch the film on August 9, 2024, in Hyderabad. Although an official announcement is still pending, the hype around the film has intensified among fans, with many X users expressing their excitement over the latest rumours.
Reports also suggest that the film has been titled Dragon, although an official update is awaited.

About the NTR-Neel project
As previously announced, Prashanth Neel and Telugu star Jr NTR’s upcoming project, tentatively titled NTR-NEEL, marks their first collaboration. The film, which is expected to be a high-octane action thriller, will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers. However, earlier sources indicated that Prashanth would first start working on his sequel to Salaar, Salaar 2, with Rebel Star Prabhas.
For the uninitiated, Prashanth Neel has two major projects in his lineup: Salaar Part 2 and NTR-NEEL. He now plans to balance the production of both films simultaneously. Prashanth had previously revealed that he was finalising the script for NTR-NEEL to ensure that the project meets the high expectations set by this collaboration.
Now, fans are keen to see how the director will manage potential scheduling conflicts between these two productions.
Jr NTR’s Upcoming Projects
Meanwhile, Jr NTR is currently busy filming for his Bollywood blockbuster War 2 and is also preparing for the release of his next Telugu film, Devara.
In War 2, the Telugu star will share the screen with Hrithik Roshan, while in Devara, directed by Koratala Siva, Janhvi Kapoor will play the female lead, and Saif Ali Khan is the antagonist. Devara is scheduled for a worldwide release on October 10, 2024.
