Bollywood’s queen Kangana Ranaut made headlines yesterday when she celebrated the return of Lord Ram to Ayodhya at the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Shri Ramjanmabhoomi Mandir. Her happiness knew no bounds as she chanted ‘Jai Shri Ram’ wholeheartedly. Well, after witnessing the historic moment and returning home, Kangana decided to give fans another reason to celebrate today. The actress officially announced the release date of her much awaited film Emergency with a special teaser and a brand new poster. The resemblance is uncanny as Kangana's determined eyes pierce straight into ours. See for yourself!

The one minute twelve seconds long teaser begins by taking us back in time to 25th June, 1975 when a state of national emergency was declared in India. In the background we hear Anupam Kher, who will be seen as Jayaprakash Narayan in the film, describing the day as the ‘darkest hour’, the death of the country. He concludes by saying, “Iss tanashahi ko rokna hoga.” We are then introduced to Kangana as India’s third Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, as she replies, “Mujhe iss desh ki raksha karne se koi nahi rok sakta. Kyunki India is Indira, and Indira is India.”
