After Sooryavanshi , filmmaker Rohit Shetty has announced his Cop universe going digital with the new project titled Indian Police Force starring Siddharth Malhotra. In a recent development, actress Shilpa Shetty is the latest addition to Rohit’s squad.
Taking to Instagram, Rohit shared the first look of Shilpa as a lady Black commando. Dress in a black uniform, Shilpa can be seen holding a gun at the battle ground. “WELCOME TO THE SQUAD SHILPA! Get ready for Gun Battles, Hand to Hand Combats, High speed chases and YES! Flying Cars...INDIAN POLICE FORCE 🇮🇳 #FilmingNow” the filmmaker captioned the post. Take a look:

On the other hand, Shilpa is thrilled to make her digital debut with the ‘ Action King’. She took to Instagram and shared the same poster, and wrote, “Ready to set the OTT platform on fire for the first time🔥Superrr Thrilled to join The Action King Rohit Shetty in his Cop Universe!” Take a look:
Earlier, Rohit shared the first teaser of his OTT Cop universe in which he introduced Siddharth as a police officer. The clip showed his team putting together the Amazon Prime Video show as he himself was seen testing the car and guns on set. Towards the end, Siddharth shows up walking in slow motion as a blast goes off. Watch the teaser here:
The upcoming film is touted to be an eight-part action series that also marks Rohit’s digital debut. Reportedly, the filmmaker will this time shine the spotlight on the Delhi police rather the Mumbai police. The fiction series is said to be an ode to the selfless service, unconditional commitment, and fierce patriotism of our police officers across the country, who put everything on the line in their call of duty.
As per reports, the Indian Police Force will have Rohit serving as its showrunner and will be directed by Sushwanth Prakash. Earlier, Rohit’s cop universe includes films like the Ajay Devgn starrer Singham franchise, Ranveer Singh -starrer Simmba, and Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi.
