Fans were thrilled for Prakash’s musical comeback. In recent years, his focus had shifted towards his acting career, limiting his work as a composer. Now, with both Amaran and Lucky Baskhar, he’s reaffirmed his impact in the music scene.

Lucky Baskhar marks Prakash’s continued collaboration with Venky Atluri, following the success of SIR/Vaathi, which was also well-received at the box office for its music. This film follows a similar cross-industry model, with Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan taking the lead in Lucky Baskhar.

The latter, based on the 1992 banking and stock market scheme, saw paid premieres across India on the eve of its release and garnered glowing reviews, leading to stellar opening day numbers. With over Rs 12 crore on its first day, Lucky Baskhar has seen sold-out shows in Telugu states.
Meanwhile, Amaran, starring Sivakarthikeyan, has also delivered. According to the producer, the film grossed over Rs 42 crore on day one and received positive reviews, suggesting a strong opening weekend.
