Doctor G Trailer: Rakul Preet Singh asks Ayushmann Khurrana to spank her while he struggles to lose the ‘male touch’

When we hear Ayushmann Khurrana ’s name, we expect the words ‘blockbuster hit’ to follow it. This is because in his spectacular career of 10 long years as an actor, he has not only given fans phenomenal performances but has also introduced us to a new genre of Hindi films which he owns! So when it was announced that he will be playing a gynaecologist in Doctor G , we were obviously intrigued to find out more. Well, the much awaited trailer is finally here and it promises to be another feather on his cap.

Ayushmann aka Dr. Uday Gupta is a first year medical student who wanted to specialize in orthopaedic but ended up being the only male student in the gynaecology department. While he believes that patients are more comfortable with female gynaecologists, his professor Dr Nandini, played by Shefali Shah , explains that he needs to change his mind set first. While he struggles to lose the ‘male touch’, he meets and falls for his fellow doctor Rakul Preet Singh . She is like a breath of fresh air!

The story is unique and has a fun twist to it. But it also gives a strong glimpse of how challenging it can be to be a male gynaecologist in our society. While Shefali is intense and badass as Nandini, Rakul is a treat to watch as always. But once again Ayushmann steals the show. It is crazy how versatile and natural he is on-screen. In the trailer, we see him as Uday and for a moment forget that he is Ayushmann portraying a character. That’s exactly what sets him apart from the rest and is a reason why we can bet Doctor G will be another masterpiece in his filmography. High hopes from this one!

Helmed by Anubhuti Kashyap, who makes her directorial debut with this project, Doctor G will arrive in theatres for his appointment on 14th October.
