Few fans and netizens were particularly impressed by the cliffhanger climax, which was elevated by Anirudh Ravichander’s banger of a background score. Another user wrote, “The last 20 minutes were packed with a GOOSEBUMPS action block and a surprise. #Devara has all the chances to become a BLOCKBUSTER.”

However, while some fans enjoyed the climax and interval block, many viewers felt the film was blatantly inspired by films such as Baahubali (2015). Overall, the film has been receiving mixed responses from viewers. Nevertheless, the hype surrounding the film is very much evident, and fans are flocking to theaters to celebrate Jr NTR’s visual spectacle.
