Cuttputlli trailer: Akshay Kumar goes on a quest to hunt down a vicious serial killer in Kasauli, fans call it 'impressive'

The trailer of Akshay Kumar ’s crime-thriller flick Cuttputlli is finally out and it was definitely worth the wait. The adrenaline-rushing trailer revolves around Akshay’s character Arjan Sethi going on a quest to hunt down a vicious serial killer in Kasauli. The movie has been helmed by Ranjit M Tiwari and also stars Rakul Preet Singh in the lead role.

Talking about the same, the trailer of the movie begins with a serial killer brutally murdering school girls in Kasauli. Akshay Kumar plays a no-nonsense cop Arjan Sethi who is determined to catch this terrifying criminal. Rakul Preet Singh by the looks of it plays a school teacher who will assist Akshay in this mission. Akshay can be seen telling how one has to play mind games with the murderer to catch him red-handed. Well, the movie promises to be a wholesome dose of thrill, chase, and suspense. For the unversed, Cuttputlli is the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Ratsasan . The netizens were left impressed by the Akshay Kumar film. In fact, some of them also hailed the film as a superior quality offering from Akshay from his previous box office duds like Bachchhan Paanday, Samrat Prithviraj, and Raksha Bandhan. One of the fans stated, “This is what we expect from Akshay sir. This was just lite and the way Akshay sir narrating and bgm was fire.” Another fan went on to say, “This Looks Damn impressive. Akshay Kumar Is Back Again In Police Uniform.” Another user stated, “Finally Akki in a dark role, Akshay will rock this time.”

Cuttputlli will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on September 2, 2022. The movie was earlier named Mission Cinderella. The original film Ratsasan starred Vishnu Vishal, Amala Paul, and Saravanan in the lead roles. It will be interesting to see whether the Akshay Kumar starrer is able to retain the essence of the original which is considered to be one of the best crime thriller flicks.
