Updated : June 14, 2022 03:46 PM ISTThe trailer of Ayan Mukerji directorial Brahmāstra, which marks Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s first film together, is all set to be launched on 15th June tomorrow.
After a really long wait and several posters later, the team of Brahmāstra is finally ready to unveil the much anticipated trailer of their film, which has been in the making for almost a decade. Starring love birds Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead along with megastar Amitabh Bachchan , South superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni and Naagin actress Mouni Roy , the fantasy adventure film left fans with very high expectations ever since it was announced. But the makers had to delay the release due to heavy VFX work and the COVID-19 pandemic.
While Ranbir and director Ayan Mukerji have been busy with promotions, Alia is currently in London shooting her Hollywood debut Heart of Stone. Today, a day before the trailer is launched, she took to her official social media handle to share a special video message for her fans. In the clip, the beauty says, “Gentle but very forceful reminder, that Brahmāstra's trailer is releasing tomorrow. That is the 15th of June, in the morning. It's a very very big deal and very big moment for all of us, we are very very excited. Main matlab ek hafte se nahi soyi hun theek se I think because I've been so nervous. I've seen the trailer like some 25-30 times. It's a very big moment guys, for me in a big way because it's not just a film.”
An overwhelmed Alia tried to catch her breath as she continued to add, “I think I've said this time and again, the kind of effort, energy, love, attention, focus, this that has gone into Brahmāstra, it is kind of out of this world and over the years people have been asking me 'what's happening with Brahmāstra, when is it releasing, how is it releasing, what is happening etc etc' and I've just kept my head down I've kept quiet because I was like listen I know my best friend, who is my wonder boy I call him, Ayan has a certain vision with this film and it takes time to make and hopefully when it's going to come out to the world you all will love it and enjoy it.”
Ranbir and Alia’s first film together, Brahmāstra will arrive in theatres on 9th September this year.
