'Blockbuster song of the year coming': Akshay Kumar, Honey Singh get together for Selfiee's next song Kudi Chamkeeli, netizens can't keep calm

After Main Khiladi and Kudiye Ni Teri, Akshay Kumar is all set to unveil the third song from his upcoming family entertainer, Selfie. The actor reunited with singer Yo Yo Honey Singh to create a new track Kudi Chamkeeli . He took to Instagram to treat his fans with the first poster of the same ahead of the teaser release tomorrow (February 18).

The actor-singer duo had previously collaborated and delivered hit party anthems like Lonely, Party All Night, Boss, and Alcoholic among others. Sharing the poster, Akshay wrote, “Tapping our feet to @yoyohoneysingh’s beats…aap bhi join karna! #KudiChamkeeli teaser out tomorrow. # Selfiee in cinemas on 24th Feb.” Soon after, fans spammed the comment sections with excitement. One user wrote, “Blockbuster song of the year coming…” Another commented, “Akki + Yo Yo = blockbuster loading.” “Akki X Yo Yoi Nothing can stop this song from being a blockbuster, ” added another. Talking about the upcoming film Selfiee, the film is the official remake of the Malayalam film Driving License. The original movie starred Prithviraj and Suraj Venjaramoodu, while the upcoming remake has Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles. Besides them, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty are also part of the cast. The film is helmed by Raj Mehta, who last directed Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani starrer Jugjugg Jeeyo. Backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the film is set to hit theatres on February 24.

Meanwhile, Akshay has given back-to-back flops like Samrat Prithviraj, Ram Setu, Bachcchan Paandey among others lately. His last hit was Sooryavanshi co-starring Katrina Kaif and Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh appeared in cameo roles. The actor has other interesting projects lineup which includes Oh My God 2, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Gorkha and many more. He also has the Hindi remake of 'Soorarai Pottru' in the pipeline.
